The 2019 All-American Junior Sheep Show is going to be held at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, Hutchinson, KS from July 4-7, 2019. This will be the second time the All American has visited Kansas and the show looks forward to going back to the Sunflower State. The All-American is the premier and largest junior breeding sheep show in the country. The breeds participating this year are: Polled Dorsets, Horned Dorsets, Dorset Advantage, Hampshires, Southdowns, Border Leicesters, Cheviots, Shropshires, Oxfords, Montadales, Romneys, Shetlands, Lincolns, Natural Coloreds, Tunis, Dorpers, Columbias, Corriedales, Katahdins, Merinos, Targhees and Rambouillets. Two new breeds have joined the All American, White Dorpers and Suffolks will also have breed shows. Several meat breeds will feature slick shorn classes at the All-American and several wool breeds will be highlighted once again this year. Judges for this year’s event will be Tim Hall, Dalmatia, PA; Matt Scramlin, Holly, MI; and Ryan Hendricks, Leonardville, KS. The National Junior Southdown Show, National Junior Tunis Show and National Junior Suffolk Show will be held in conjunction with the All American Junior show this year.
